Can Xiaohongshu's open platform read notes and comments? (2026)

Not at present. Its documentation opens one scope, basic_info (nickname, avatar, gender, region of a user who authorised your app); reading notes is listed as planned, and its API reference is authorisation and basic information only. DataXAPI reads Xiaohongshu (RedNote) with 21 endpoints, from $0.0200 a call; a failed call is not charged.
