Step 1: Xiaohongshu PGY creator search

Search creators by terms matched against what they write about, 20 a page. Add view=full to see the rate for an image note (ext.rate_image_note) and a video note (ext.rate_video_note), with median reads and interactions. Each item's id is the PGY creator ID the next step takes; account_id is the Xiaohongshu user ID, for the account and note endpoints.

Good to know

  • A PGY creator ID is 24 hexadecimal characters and is not the Xiaohongshu handle; every other PGY endpoint takes it.
  • For terms no creator matches, the platform still returns loosely related creators rather than nothing, so check their categories first. A page holds 20; a page.next_cursor is good for an hour.
  • The audience gives shares only, not the count in each segment (count); city tier, consumer groups and purchase breakdowns are not given by the platform. An audience that cannot be found is not charged.
