The Creator object
What every field means, which number each platform puts in it, and where it is missing.
The Audience object
What every field means, which number each platform puts in it, and where it is missing.
The Douyin trend-index creator metrics object
What every field means, which number each platform puts in it, and where it is missing.
The 18 endpoints
Every endpoint answers in one response shape. The Returns column names the object each one gives.
Questions about Creators data
Short answers. Each endpoint's page has its own limits and examples.
Douyin trend-index creator follower profile API →How much does it cost?
$0.0040 a call on 8 endpoints; $0.0400 a call on 6 endpoints; $0.0020 a call on 3 endpoints; $0.0080 a call on 1 endpoint. You are charged when data comes back; a failed call costs nothing. No subscription, no monthly minimum.
Do I need an account on the platform?
No. One DataXAPI key reads all 2 platforms. No platform account and no cookie.
What if a platform does not have a field?
The field is left out of the item and named in meta.unavailable on every answer. It is never filled with a guess or a zero.
Am I charged for an empty result?
On 5 of the 18 endpoints an empty result is charged as a call: the platform was read and had nothing to give. Each endpoint's page says which. Errors and timeouts are never charged.
What is a rate card?
What a creator lists for sponsored work on the platform's own marketplace. On Xingtu (星图) the full rate card comes back as Creator rates: each kind of work in the platform's words, the amount, how it is settled and whether the creator takes it now. On PGY (蒲公英) a creator's full view gives the rate for an image note and a video note. The amounts are in yuan.
Are the figures the marketplace's own?
Yes. Medians, rates, scores and audience shares are what Xingtu or PGY shows for the creator, as structures of each marketplace's own: they are not promised to compare across marketplaces. A Xingtu score ranks creators on Xingtu only, and Xingtu's conversion figures are the bands it shows, in its words.
How do I get a creator's ID?
From the marketplace's creator search: Xingtu searches words in creators' names, PGY matches terms against what creators write about. That ID is not the platform account ID; a creator's account_id is the one the account endpoints take. The trend-index (巨量算数) endpoints take the account's numeric Douyin ID (uid), which Xingtu gives as ext.uid in the full view.
Can I read a Douyin account that is not on Xingtu?
Yes, through Douyin's trend-index (巨量算数), by the account's numeric ID (uid): who follows it, by share of each segment, and what it gained a day over the last week and month. It is not limited to marketplace creators; for the daily figures, an account the tool has nothing on is answered as not found.
