Will using a data API get my Xiaohongshu or Douyin account banned? (2026)
A call to DataXAPI goes out on our key and does not touch your platform account or cookie, so the call involves no account of yours. What a platform does is the platform's decision, and we cannot promise on its behalf; what you do on your own account stays under its rules. DataXAPI reads Xiaohongshu (RedNote) with 21 endpoints, from $0.0200 a call; a failed call is not charged.

What you can check
Look at any endpoint's page: the parameters are a keyword, a link or an ID, and the one credential is your DataXAPI key. Nothing asks for a login or a cookie, and our acceptable use policy tells you not to submit platform passwords, cookies or private logins. A key that leaks spends your balance; it does not reach your platform account.
What this does not cover
If you also run a tool that logs in with your account, that tool's risk stays with that tool. And if you use the data to act on a platform, such as mass replies or fake engagement, the account doing it is yours, and our policy does not allow that use either. If what you need is reading your own account's data, the platform's official interface may suit you better.
