How do I connect Xiaohongshu data to Dify? (MCP, 2026)
Add https://api.dataxapi.com/mcp under Tools, MCP in Dify with your key in a header, and an Agent can read Xiaohongshu; for a fixed flow, call the endpoint from a workflow's HTTP Request node. A page of search is $0.0200. One keyword and the comments on 5 notes come to $0.12, and the model is paid for apart. DataXAPI reads Xiaohongshu (RedNote) with 21 endpoints, from $0.0200 a call; a failed call is not charged.

With an Agent: MCP
Go to Integrations, Tools, MCP and add an MCP server (HTTP). URL is https://api.dataxapi.com/mcp, Name is DataXAPI, Server Identifier is dataxapi. Under Advanced Options, Custom Headers, set Authorization to Bearer and your key.
Make an Agent app, or an Agent node in a workflow, and pick the DataXAPI tools. Then ask: “Use DataXAPI to find popular Xiaohongshu notes on camping, and tell me what the comments complain about.”
Headers came in Dify 1.9.0; a self-hosted Dify older than that signs in with OAuth instead. The key in a header is shared by the whole workspace, so give it a daily limit.
In a fixed workflow: HTTP Request node
Use a GET to https://api.dataxapi.com/v1/xiaohongshu/notes/search with the parameter query, and API Key, Bearer as its authorization, with your key. The notes are in data.items. You pick the endpoint and the model does not choose, which keeps the cost the same each run.
What it comes to
One search at $0.0200 and the first page of comments on 5 notes at $0.0200 each come to $0.12. 100 such questions are $12. An Agent decides how many calls to make, so its bill can differ; a failed call is not charged. These steps follow Dify's documents as read on the date below; its screens may differ in your version.
Endpoints
Each with its price; every page has the parameters, the fields and a recorded response.
