Which APIs get WeChat Official Account data: past articles, full text, reads, comments? (2026)
All of them. WeChat's own interface only manages an account you run. DataXAPI has 8 Official Account endpoints that read any public account on one key: past articles, full text, reads and likes, comments and replies, the account and who is behind it. DataXAPI reads WeChat Official Accounts with 8 endpoints, from $0.0200 a call; a failed call is not charged.

How it differs from WeChat's own interface
WeChat's interface is for running your own account: you register, get an AppID and work on what that account publishes. It does not read other accounts. These endpoints read what is public, and you do not need an account of your own.
