How do I export all of a WeChat Channels account's videos? (2026)
Find the account's ID, then page through wechat_channels.users.videos.list. At about 15 videos a page and $0.0200 a page, 300 videos come to $0.40, plus $0.0600 for finding the account by name: $0.46 in all. Each row has the description, time, likes, comments, forwards and saves. No WeChat account of yours is used. DataXAPI reads WeChat Channels with 15 endpoints, from $0.0150 a call; a failed call is not charged.
The ID starts with v2_ and ends with @finder. The ID starting with sph shown in the app does not work here. Two ways: wechat_channels.users.search with the exact name, at $0.0600; or wechat_channels.videos.get with the share link of any of its videos, at $0.0200, whose author.id is the account's ID.
Exporting
dataxapi call wechat_channels.users.videos.list id=ACCOUNT_ID --pages 20 --max-spend 0.4 --out videos.json, or tell your AI: “Get all this Channels account's videos as a spreadsheet.” A page can hold up to 30, so it can come to less. A cursor is good for an hour. A failed call is not charged.
The list has no play counts. To refresh counts later without paging again, read one video's with wechat_channels.videos.metrics, at $0.0150: 300 videos come to $4.50.
Endpoints
Each with its price; every page has the parameters, the fields and a recorded response.
