How do I get WeChat Channels data?
Call DataXAPI's WeChat Channels (视频号) endpoints with a video's or an account's ID: a video's likes, comments, forwards and saves, the comments under it, an account's profile and videos, the videos in its collections, and a keyword search of Channels videos through WeChat Search. DataXAPI reads WeChat Channels with 7 endpoints, from $0.0200 a call; a failed call is not charged.
What there is
By a video's ID, a string of digits: its description, author, time, and like, comment, forward and save counts, and its top-level comments with the commenter's name, likes, time and IP location. By an account's ID (v2_…@finder): its name, signature, avatar, IP location and number of videos, its videos newest first, 15 a page, and all its public collections. By a collection's ID: the videos in it, 20 a page. By search terms, through WeChat Search: videos with their description, the account's name, likes and saves, length and cover.
Not here: play counts and follower counts. A video found by search comes with the search result's encrypted ID and its account's name only: that ID is not one the video detail and comments take, and may differ in a later search.
Where the IDs come from
A video's author.id is the account's ID. A WeChat Official Account (公众号) profile names its linked Channels account in ext.channels_id, so an Official Account's original ID leads to its Channels account.
From the account, its video list gives the video IDs that the video detail and the comments take; so does a collection's video list, whose IDs come from the collection list.
