How do I use AI to audit and review an account? (2026)
1 Douyin account comes to about $0.026 a review: douyin.users.get for its profile, douyin.users.videos.list for its latest 20 or so videos, douyin.users.history for how its numbers moved over 7 or 30 days, and douyin.videos.metrics for the plays of 10 videos. On Xiaohongshu, xiaohongshu.users.notes.list is $0.0200 a page. The endpoints give the figures; your AI reads them and you check its reasoning. DataXAPI reads Douyin with 36 endpoints, from $0.0020 a call; a failed call is not charged.

What each one gives
Links can be pasted as they are where an endpoint takes url: the Douyin and Xiaohongshu ones below do, except douyin.users.history.
| Endpoint | What it gives | Each |
|---|---|---|
douyin.users.get | Followers, following, posts. view=full adds ext.likes and ext.uid | $0.0020 |
douyin.users.videos.list | About 20 videos a page, newest first: caption, time, likes, comments, shares, saves. No plays | $0.0020 |
douyin.videos.metrics | One video's plays and likes as of now | $0.0020 |
douyin.users.history | Over 7 or 30 days (window): gained, the change against the period before (change), and totals. One period's sum, not day by day | $0.0020 |
xiaohongshu.users.get | Followers, following, notes. view=full adds ext.likes and ext.favorites | $0.0200 |
xiaohongshu.users.notes.list | About 20 notes a page: title, first 100 characters, likes, saves, comments, shares, whether pinned. No reads | $0.0200 |
What to watch in an account's history
It takes the account's numeric ID, which is ext.uid from douyin.users.get with view=full. It is not the Douyin handle, though a handle is often digits too. Accounts with few followers have no such data: when we tried, a few hundred followers failed and over 30,000 worked, and retrying does not help.
ids takes up to 5 accounts for $0.0020 a call, which suits your account beside 4 peers. If one of them cannot be read the whole batch fails, and asking one at a time shows which.
What to say to your AI
With DataXAPI connected: “Review this Douyin account. Get its profile, its history over 30 days, its latest page of videos, and the plays of the latest 10. Make a table of date, caption, plays, likes, comments, shares and saves. Then say which videos beat the account's median and what they share, and whether posting and follower gain rose or fell against the period before. Use the figures, and say where a figure is missing.”
Without an AI writing the calls: dataxapi run account-audit platform=douyin account=ACCOUNT_ID --out audit.csv writes one table, a row for each video with the account's own figures beside it. It is 2 calls, $0.004, and account is the ID starting with MS4w. On Xiaohongshu it is the 24-character user ID, and 2 calls are $0.04.
| You see | It may mean (our suggestion, not a rule) |
|---|---|
change.followers down and change.posts down | Fewer posts may be the first thing to look at |
change.posts up and change.likes down | More posts, each doing less |
| A few videos far above the median | Compare what they have in common with the rest |
What it comes to, and what to know
Numbers are as they stand when read, so read again next week and compare. What only the account's own back end shows, such as where views came from, is not here. The endpoints read public data and cannot post.
| Job | Calls | Comes to |
|---|---|---|
| One Douyin account, once a week for a month | 52 × $0.0020 | $0.104 |
| Your Douyin account beside 4 peers | 5 × $0.0020 + 5 × $0.0020 + 1 × $0.0020 | $0.022 |
| One Xiaohongshu account, 5 pages of notes: about 100 | 1 × $0.0200 + 5 × $0.0200 | $0.12 |
