Acceptable use
Last updated 2026-10-13.
- Use the data for a lawful purpose that you have the right to pursue.
- Public data only: no private accounts, private messages or deleted content.
- Do not build files on individuals, and do not harass or track anyone.
- Do not resell access to the service as it is, and do not sell or rent keys.
- If we restrict an account, we say why where we can, and you can ask for a review.
What you may do
This policy covers the DataXAPI website, the Console, the API and its other ways in, and what you do with them in your own applications. With the rights your use needs and a lawful purpose, you may use the service to read public content, to research content, to analyze brands and markets, and to build applications and AI agents.
Access to data does not by itself grant rights to redistribute, resell or train on the underlying content. Follow the law that applies to you, the platform rules that bind you and what each endpoint states.
What you may not do
- Retrieve private accounts, private messages, deleted content or anything else that is not public; get around sign-in, access, payment or rights restrictions; submit platform passwords, cookies or private login credentials.
- Harass, stalk or track a person, or expose a private identity or private contact details; build files on individuals for surveillance, for discriminatory decisions or to infer sensitive traits; collect data about minors in a way that puts them at risk.
- Collect, disclose or trade personal information without a proper basis; infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights; present the availability of an endpoint as official authorization or as unrestricted permission.
- Fake engagement, spam or unsolicited messages, fraud, impersonation, any unlawful activity, or helping others get around a restriction that has been imposed.
- Attack the service or anyone else’s systems, try to reach another account, spread malware, get around rate limits, run up costs on purpose, or sell or rent API keys.
- Resell access to the service as it is, or let your account serve as an unrestricted anonymous channel for others.
- Sign up repeatedly, or use false email or identity links, to receive free credit more than once; falsify payment, complaint or authorization evidence.
Personal and sensitive data
Public content can contain personal information, and it stays protected. Collect and keep only what your purpose needs; an endpoint being able to return data is not a reason to collect all of it.
If a result unexpectedly contains sensitive or private information, stop distributing it and report the least information that locates it to
rights@dataxapi.com. Do not collect more of the same content to show the problem.Your application
You may use results in your own application within the rights you hold and this policy. Bind your own users to the same limits, and keep keys on your servers. Your own databases, publications and use of models need their own rights and notices; this policy does not replace them.
Enforcement and review
We respond in proportion to the evidence and the risk: a lower rate limit, a block on particular content or a particular creator, a paused endpoint, a disabled key or a suspended account. An urgent security or rights risk may require a restriction before we have finished checking. Where we are permitted to and it does not weaken security, we give the reason and say how to ask for a review. A complaint is not treated as proven merely because it was made.
An ordinary complaint, a billing question or a privacy request is not misuse. A restriction does not by itself take away your balance. Top-ups are final, and a balance left on an account that is closed is not paid back, as the Terms say. To ask for a review of a restriction, write to
support@dataxapi.com.Reporting misuse
To report content that affects your rights, use the complaint form; you need no account. To report other misuse of the service, write to
rights@dataxapi.com. Give the content or account concerned, a request ID or complaint reference if you have one, and the facts in brief. Do not send identity documents that are not needed, or secret credentials. How we handle what you send is in the Privacy policy.
