Tweet ID to timestamp converter
Paste a tweet ID or a link to a post on X (Twitter). The exact time it was posted comes out, to the millisecond, for every post since November 4, 2010. It runs in your browser: no sign-in, and nothing is sent anywhere. The post itself is one API call, $0.0003.
How it works
Since November 4, 2010 every tweet ID is a “snowflake”: a 64-bit number whose top 41 bits are the milliseconds since X's own starting point, 1288834974657. Shift the ID right by 22 bits, add that number, and you have the time in Unix milliseconds. The lower 22 bits say which machine made the ID and its sequence number within that millisecond. IDs from before that date were handed out in order and hold no time, so this page says so instead of guessing.
Turn IDs into posts, in bulk.
$0.0003 a post. A failed call is never charged.
