Usage notes

Good for

  • Use it to read public comments and debate under an answer.

Not for

  • Do not use it for child comments, full archives, or article comments.

Known limitations

  • Only the first page, up to 20 comments; order is score (hottest) or ts (newest).
  • Deleted, private, or restricted content is absent.
  • Nested objects such as the author are returned as upstream sends them, minus tokens, account-binding flags, privacy settings, and tracking fields; avatar and media links inside them may expire.
