Usage notes

Good for

Use it when you have a numeric Weibo post ID (mid) and need its public content and reach.

Not for

Do not use it for comments, repost lists, or follower-only posts.

Known limitations

Only the numeric post ID is accepted, not the short bid.
Long posts return the full text; images and videos return only basics such as counts.
Counts are point-in-time public snapshots, not live or historical trends.
Nested objects such as the author are returned as upstream sends them, minus tokens, account-binding flags, privacy settings, and tracking fields; avatar and media links inside them may expire.
