Usage notes

Good for

Use it when you have the shortcode from a post link (after /p/ or /reel/).

Not for

Do not use it to download media, read comments, or access private accounts.

Known limitations

Only the shortcode is accepted, not a full URL.
Media download URLs are not returned.
Counts are point-in-time public snapshots, not live or historical trends.
Nested objects such as the author are returned as upstream sends them, minus tokens, account-binding flags, privacy settings, and tracking fields; avatar and media links inside them may expire.
