Its Official Account list gives 20 articles with reads, wows and likes in one call; DataXAPI takes reads article by article, which costs far more. **Tools DataXAPI lacks**: video transcripts for Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Channels (¥0.6 a job, down to ¥0.3, results free); AI search answers from Kimi, Yuanbao, Qwen, Baidu, Doubao and DeepSeek at ¥0.06 each; a banned-word check across platforms at ¥0.06; image and video generation, and downloads without watermarks. **Platforms DataXAPI lacks**: Toutiao, Baijiahao, Autohome, Dongchedi and Yiche. **Enterprise services**: a contract SLA, custom endpoints and datasets, private deployment, historical backfill; a support contact on its MCP page; a skills library. ## How DataXAPI differs Calls by ID, keyword or account are fetched at call time for every customer, with `meta.fetched_at` on each response. An article posted today, or reads that just went up, can be read now. Every platform is on one MCP address, and ChatGPT and Claude connectors sign in with OAuth. The pages are in Chinese and English, and `llms.txt` and the other files for AI are public. A US-dollar balance, paid by Alipay or card, from $10 rather than ¥100 up front. ## Who should pick which Batch history, next-day reports, reads for many articles at once, unit price first: RedFox. Video transcripts, AI search answers, Toutiao or car platforms: RedFox. Today's trends and fresh posts, monitoring or campaign reviews that need current figures, Douyin comments, one address for every platform in an AI client, real-time data without an enterprise threshold: DataXAPI. The two also work together: batch history on RedFox, today's lookups on DataXAPI. ## How to switch **Official Accounts**: the article list becomes wechat_mp.accounts.articles.list (the `gh_` original ID as `id`), with reads from wechat_mp.articles.metrics (the long link as `url`). RedFox's `readCount` is `metrics.views`, `likeCount` is `metrics.likes`, and `watchCount` (wow) is `ext.recommends` with `view=full`. Fetching an article by its link becomes wechat_mp.articles.get; article search becomes wechat.posts.search. **Xiaohongshu and Douyin**: post search becomes xiaohongshu.notes.search or douyin.videos.search (`query`); an account's posts become xiaohongshu.users.notes.list or douyin.users.videos.list (`id` or `url`).
