# How to find Zhihu question and answer ids (2026)

A question's ID is the digits after zhihu.com/question/; an answer's, the digits after /answer/; a column article's, the digits after zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/; a user is the handle after zhihu.com/people/ (url_token). ## IDs from the hot list and search

Each `zhihu.trends.list` item's ID is a question ID, ready for `zhihu.questions.answers.list`; an answer from `zhihu.posts.search` carries `parent_id`, its question's ID.
