# What is a WeChat Channels account ID (…@finder), and what is an export ID?

A WeChat Channels (视频号) account has an ID that starts with v2_ and ends in @finder, which DataXAPI's account endpoints take; it is not the sph… ID the app shows. An export ID (export/…) is the encrypted ID WeChat Search gives a video, and the video endpoints do not take it. DataXAPI reads WeChat Channels with 14 endpoints, from $0.0150 a call; a failed call is not charged.

## The IDs WeChat documents

WeChat's mini program interface `wx.openChannelsActivity` takes `finderUserName`, described as the Channels ID starting with sph, found in Channels Assistant (视频号助手), and `feedId`, the video's feed ID, which WeChat's guide says to copy from the post management page of Channels Assistant. They are for opening a video from a mini program.

## The IDs DataXAPI uses

The account ID `v2_…@finder` is not a format WeChat documents. A public open-source project shows account user names in this form, and every account DataXAPI has recorded has it: `v2_`, a run of hexadecimal characters, `@finder`.

As public open-source tools describe it, a WeChat Search result card names a Channels video by an encrypted ID in a field called `exportId`. DataXAPI gives it as the video's `id` in search results; it is not the numeric ID the video endpoints take, and the same video is not promised the same export ID in a later search.
