# Bilibili API: videos, comments and uploader data (2026)

Bilibili's open platform is for uploaders managing their own channel, and its scopes include no search; to find videos by keyword and read any video's details and comments, any uploader's videos and the popular lists, use a third-party data API. ## Does Bilibili have an official API?

Yes. Bilibili's open platform lists the scopes `USER_INFO`, `USER_DATA`, `ARC_BASE`, `ARC_DATA`, `ATC_DATA` and `LIVE_ROOM_DATA`: the authorising user's own profile, figures, videos, articles and live room. None is search.

The endpoints the web pages call without a login need a wbi signature and answer 412 or -352 once requests come fast.

## What do DataXAPI's Bilibili endpoints return?

A video is named by its BV number (12 characters starting with BV1), or its link or b23.tv short link pasted as it is; an uploader by the user number (mid), the digits after space.bilibili.com/.
